Milton Sleep Co, a brand by Dormae Sleep Products, has been selling direct-to-consumer mattresses since 2021.
Since Dormae Sleep and Milton Sleep Co has connections to Serta, I decided to look into its potential use of fiberglass.
Asking Milton Sleep Co About Fiberglass
I contacted Milton Sleep through its website contact form to ask about fiberglass. I asked my usual questions regarding memory foam and latex mattresses containing fiberglass, polyester, rayon, silica, and flame-retardant chemicals.
Milton Sleep Co replied to me fairly quickly and had this to say:
“To answer your questions our mattresses do contain memory foam but not latex. With respect the other items just about all mattresses contain Polyester, Rayon, and other manmade materials. I believe that at this time Milton MIB may not meet your needs.”

So, Does Milton Sleep Use Fiberglass?
Milton Sleep Co told me its mattresses are all memory foam beds that contain synthetic fibers such as Polyester and Rayon.
However, Milton Sleep neglected to directly answer my question regarding fiberglass, but alluded to possibly containing fiberglass as “other manmade materials”.
Since Milton Sleep Co isn’t very transparent regarding fiberglass use, but vaguely admits to using “manmade materials”, I would avoid Milton Sleep Co mattresses.

While shopping for his daughter’s first “big girl” bed in 2019, John learned about the hidden dangers of fiberglass in mattresses. Since then, he’s made it his mission to expose as much hidden fiberglass in mattresses as possible. His ultimate goal is federal regulations that ban fiberglass from being used in mattresses, or at least a law that requires it to be listed as a material on required tags.
