Maxzzz was a popular mattress brand half a decade ago. These days, the Maxzzz website doesn’t even work.
However, Maxzzz isn’t dead – the brand still sells mattresses on Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, and other online stores.
What Kind of Beds Does Maxzzz Sell?
Maxzzz mostly sells hybrid memory foam mattresses in the 10 to 12 inch thick options with Medium-Firm and Firm plushness options. Its mattresses feature cooling gel and charcoal foam options.
Memory foam mattress toppers and memory foam pillows are also sold by Maxzzz.
Does Maxzzz Have Fiberglass?
Back in 2020, when fiberglass in mattresses was just starting to gain attention, I asked Maxzzz about fiberglass and other materials.
Maxzzz got back to me very quickly and had this to say:
“All mattresses on our online store don’t contain any Fiberglasses. Modacrylic, Rayon and Silica are also not included in our mattresses. We don’t use any fire retardant sprays. The cover contains Polyester. The mattress cover comes with zipper, detachable and machine washable.” -Maxzzz
However, Maxzzz did not offer any explanation as to how flammability texting regulation were passed without fiberglass.
Final Fiberglass Thoughts on Maxzzz
Considering how Maxzzz seems to have lost its website and there’s no way to even contact company representatives, I would avoid Maxzzz.
There may not be reports online of Maxzzz having fiberglass, I can’t say for certain that they are truly fiberglass-free.
Without a company website or any online presence, it’s hard to picture Maxzzz being held accountable for a mattress that does end up having hidden fiberglass,
