Perfect Cloud was selling a lot of mattresses on Amazon, so I wanted to reach out and find out about potential fiberglass use.
Contacting Perfect Cloud about Fiberglass
I couldn’t find anything on Perfect Cloud’s website regarding fiberglass, so I reached out to through its website contact form.
These are the questions I asked Perfect Cloud:
“Do any of your memory foam and/or latex mattresses contain Fiberglass (glass fibers, woven or non-woven), Modacrylic, Polyester, Rayon, or Silica in the covers or any other part of the mattress? What about Fire Retardant sprays like Antimony, are any of them used on your mattresses? What countries are your memory foam mattresses made in?”
Perfect Cloud replied to me very quickly:
“We use a fire-retardant mattress lining or sock that goes around the mattress. It’s made of a special fiberglass material.”

So, Does Perfect Cloud Use Fiberglass?
It’s pretty clear. Even though Perfect Cloud neglected to answer a few of my questions about its materials, it did give me an answer regarding fiberglass.
Perfect Cloud definitely uses fiberglass, it stated that fact plainly in its reply to me. I would not recommend a Perfect Cloud mattresses, no matter how “special” it claims the fiberglass is.

While shopping for his daughter’s first “big girl” bed in 2019, John learned about the hidden dangers of fiberglass in mattresses. His ultimate goal is federal regulations that ban fiberglass from being used in mattresses, or at least a law that requires it to be listed as a material on required tags.
